The NCAA men’s and women’s skiing committee on Tuesday announced the 74 men and 74 women who’ll compete at the 2008 National Collegiate Skiing Championships, which are being hosted by Bozeman’s Bridger Bowl and Bohart Ranch March 5-8.

It’s another long holiday weekend in western Montana. The Montana Snowkite Rodeo, one of the most unique snow events of the year, is taking place up at Georgetown Lake this weekend (see post below). The forecast is calling for a mix of sun and snow, which should make for a great time on the slopes. [...]

The fifth annual Snowkite Rodeo kicks off this weekend at Georgetown Lake. There is plenty of action on tap for the long holiday weekend, including the Hoe-Down at the Brown Derby on Saturday night. For a list of events, click here. Below is a YouTube clip from last year’s rodeo.
