Mystery Ranch Saddle Peak Pack

Because it’s Black Friday and everyone is in a consumerist frenzy, i thought I would point this out.

A small Bozeman company that makes packs for hunters and the military recently designed a pack specifically for hiking the ridge at Bridger Bowl. I wouldn’t mind if I found that under the Christmas tree.

I’ve never heard of this woman’s ski program before, but in the last week, two friends have expressed interest in signing up.

For Women Only is on Friday afternoons beginning Jan. 8 for female skiers of all abilities. The instructors are female, too. It looks cool.

UM students revive backcountry skiing and snowboarding club

The once-dormant University of Montana backcountry skiing and snowboarding club is rising again, reports the Montana Kaimin, UM’s student newspaper. A fundraiser is set for Nov. 30 at the Bayern Brewery to raise money for upcoming trips. For more information, check it out  here.
