But the list hardly ends there!

Tell us what you love about spring skiing! Maybe there’s one on this list or maybe there’s something else you love about spring skiing.

Here’s what I love about spring skiing:

Forget goggles. Go for the sunglasses!

Note to self: Alpine racing league at Snowbowl requires skis

Wednesday was the first night of alpine racing at Snowbowl and guess who forgot her skis?

That’s right! I did.

I’m on a roll this season. I forgot my poles the first day of the season.

Lawmaker looks into chairlift safety bill

I blogged on this topic last week, and then wrote a story for today’s Missoulian.

When I spoke earlier this week with Rep. Betsy Hands, who requested the bill draft, there were a couple of things she stressed to me which she felt have been misunderstood. Hopefully these points hit home like a hammer in the story, [...]

Is legislating broken chairlifts the best option?

Three breakdowns on the Grizzly chairlift this season generated complaints over consumer satisfaction at Montana Snowbowl, and pushed Rep. Betsy Hands to request legislation addressing refunds for lift tickets. * Photo by Chad Harder *

Nobody likes long chairlift lines on the day of a big dump, though they’re almost inevitable. That frustration is [...]
